When I consider the complexity of my being, how all of the things about my physical, mental, emotional and spiritual attributes fit together to form “me”, I am in awe. Not in myself, but in the created being God has made, continually blessed by Him.
God has put together a good work in each of us. We are to be His hands and feet, and in order to live this out, we must be able to operate as complex beings in a very complex world. He had made us each, in our own way, an intricate, unique, intelligent being. And although our complexity causes us anguish at times, the other side of the coin is that God uses this combination of the complex ("fearfully") and the simple ("wonderfully") to achieve marvelous things.
Let the beauty of you as a part of creation be fully realized in His love.
Heavenly Father,
Guide us as we continually seek to be more in line with Your will for us. Be with us as we keep our focus on You and Your Kingdom.
Take us to a place that is unfamiliar and challenging which allows us to maximize our contribution towards all efforts to grow and improve. Help us not to waste the beautiful creation you have so graciously given to us.
You have created a good work in each of us; help us to find time in quiet moments where we can reflect and relish in the perfection of this creation.
In Christ’s name, we pray,
